Philip Masorti / Pennsylvania Songwriter

The Biography

In 2004 I first heard and met Noah Wotherspoon at the Oregon Express in Dayton, Ohio.  I was literally blown away and I returned to State College determined to learn how to play the guitar.  In early 2005 I began writing songs.  My first songs were produced by local legend Mark Ross of Queen Bee and the Blue Hornet Band.  During these early recordings, I met Stephon, a saxophone player from NYC, who was impressed with my songs and sound.  Stephon connected me with Delmar Brown (Sting, Miles Davis, etc…) who agreed to produce my first record Father’s Eyes.  He also produced my second record Pray for Rain.  Both were recorded at Skyline Studio on West 37th Street, NYC.  My 3rd record Another Year was produced by Mark Ross and was recorded here in State College.  My 4th record Ceramic Jesus was recorded in State College and was produced by Delmar.  My 5th record Into the Woods was recorded in SC and was produced by Tom “Bone” Edmunds (Lenny Kravitz, Isley Brothers etc…).  My last record Doors is scheduled to come out soon.  Doors was recorded in SC and I was executive producer.  The remaining credits are being determined.
